Plastindia Foundation instituted PLASTICON Awards with the objective to encourage and recognize innovation and growth in all facets of Indian Plastic Industry and to honour significant contribution made by Indian business enterprises, Institutions, NGOs and individuals who have excelled in their endeavour. Recognition comes by honouring them with presentation of Plasticon Awards at public platform in presence of the Plastic fraternity.

The 5th Plasticon awards brought to light innovative spirit of Plastic Industry where innovation, growth and progress was recognized and awarded. This will ultimately result into successful and profitable business enterprise. Plastindia Foundation, as always, invited such innovations and innovators to come forward so that Plastic industry in particular and industrial fraternity in general will come to know the inherent strength and capabilities Plastic business enterprises and Institutions.

5th Plasticon Awards consisted of categories to 23 encompassing wider areas of the plastic industry and to provide greater opportunity for large scale participation.
|
|
The 5th Plasticon Awards had an innovation in the form of a raffle for which participants were eligible and the first prize of Nano was presented.

The Awards function was very well attended by the who’s who of the plastics Industry and the awards were given by the hands of Shri Kamal Nanavaty, Mr. Arvind Mehta, Mr. William Yau, CEO, Borouge Pte. Ltd., Singapore & Mr. Sadanand Maiya, CMD, MTR Food Limited.

The awards were interspersed by entertainment by – classical and abstract forms of dance which was very well appreciated by the audience.

|
The glittering function, held at Taj Palace was attended by 600 guests, including award winners.
